Glow Discharge Power Supply

YTI manufactures the GDS100 & GDS101 Glow Discharge Power Supply. These 2 kW supplies will drive the standard aluminum glow rod for ionization bombardment of substrates prior to the coating process. Other applications of this power supply include DC bias to substrates in sputter systems and uses requiring saturable reactor current sources for low impedance loads.

The GDS100 output is variac controlled with remote On/Off capability. There are two (2) safety interlocks available (door and vacuum) to protect both the operators and the hardware.
