X-Y Sweep Controller

The XYC100 Sweep Controller is an auxiliary control unit to provide position and sweep control of an electron beam. The XYC100 is compatible with the most popular electron beam sources and power supplies. The electron beam spot can be positioned to any location within the source hearth and can be automatically swept to any extent in either the longitudinal or lateral direction. The dual sweeping action prevents tunneling and results in a more uniform erosion of subliming materials. A hand?held remote control is a standard accessory with the XYC100.
